SRP Sepura Kit
« on: January 16, 2010, 09:40:55 PM »
We now have a great selection of earpieces etc for Tetra Airwave Sepura SRP radios, including two great covert headsets, one looks like an iPod headset, so you just sit there tapping your feet and people think your listening to your music, and the other is a Nokia style mobile phone headset.

Ive used both the 'nokia' kit and the 'ipod' kit for my Sepura now whilst doing some plain clothes stuff and they are both excellent. Much better than trying to look covert with a curly cord that is supposed to be see through sticking out of your ear. Turning up to assist a uniform car and being asked by a colleage what you listening to on your ipod is quite amusing too! :-\

The Nokia one has the advantage of the extra screw to fix the jack plug in the radio, hopefully the iPod style will have that too soon.  It does stop it being yanked out...

The new RE13 has a screw to secure the unit to the radio
