Sure - I always wear the tie at the moment, it's part of the current uniform which would look scruffy without it.  But I'd rather have a more modern uniform without a collar.

Did you notice that in the film "CHILDREN OF MEN" set in 2027 the (Met) Police still (!) wear the Custodian?! The film was on the other evening... and despite the jump forward in time, it seems that some items of uniform will remain the key identifying marker...

I wear the black t-shirt at work and they are great. I was a bit unsure at first and didn't think it would make much of a difference, but they are very comfortable and more suitable than the shirt and tie if you are out and about.
