Maybe a bigger banner on the website? I only just noticed it today. It's so small...!!!

I only found the forum after a pointer in your email. I hadn't ever seen it on the site.

Have you thought about contacting forces and see if they'll mention it (the website) on their intranet? I suppose one way round any red tape would be to go via the respective federation with some kind of offer/discount promotion. Might be a good in to the 'horse's mouth' so to speak?

Another idea might be to include in your confirmation emails when someone buys a police related item from you if they would like to be an enforce-logic advocate for their force? They could maybe get access to PDF flyers of the site for their stations, spread the word, etc. I'd be quite happy to do that for my force.

Another idea might be to offer buyers a small discount or similar on return sales if they carry out reviews of their item and put it on the site with pics, etc. That would probably increase sales of items like boots, etc where people can see first hand how the product fairs over a period of time, say 6 months? That would definitely have increased the likelihood of me buying boots here previously, as most other sites don't do that (though you'll notice I've bought the Altberg Seeker Aquas anyway!).

I'm full of other ideas (or *hit depending on your point of view!) but have to shoot off now, I'll be back!

There are some very good ideas there, sounds like when you retire you could be the next Richard Branson.  I am a retired TVP officer and wanted to do something I have some knowledge about, hence enforce-logic.  I am working on the facebook page, I think that is a good idea.  The main thrust of the business is to provide the best kit and the kit that serving officers want and need, and at a good price.  The company has grown very quickly since our humble beginings in 2005 and this has been done largely by word of mouth.  We hope to offer a personal service.  Funnily enough I have considered most of the things you mention.  Unfortunately most federation offices I contacted weren't interested.
Providing feedback on items is a great idea, unfortunately we would need a totally new website of some serious alterations to the current website to do this.  It may work out in the future.
If there is any kit you would like to see we are always happy to consider stocking it.  Some people like Lowa boots for instance, the only problem is that recently I have heard a lot of moans about the quality and longevity of the Lowa boots, loads of people are changing to the Alt-Berg, so at the moment we will stick to them.
Thank you very much for your interest, keep in touch.....
